You know me, the fan (that I became) of Milla Jovovich's Resident Evil series [en.wikipedia], do you not?
Anyway, I watched Resident Evil: Retribution [en.wikipedia; official site]
What do you get? Action? Things like that?
- There's lots of action indeed + special effects + things blowing up
- Everyone good kicking the ass of everyone bad for most of the time
- Zombies, monsters or strange creatures from now and then
Milla?
Yes, she's there on duty. She's the center of all action.
Great costume, by the way. Sexy.
They could have let her hair a bit longer. Really, there was no need to cut it that short.
Story?
Well, you know it is not that kind of a movie... If you want a good/coherent story, read a book, will you?
I did not notice a real plot and/or a coherent story line. Wasn't interested in that with respect to this movie, either.
Conclusions
Resident Evil: Retribution = Milla Jovovich et. al. + action + special effects
You go for action, you get action. Fair enough.
